Tara is an emotional intelligence practitioner, accomplished author and keynote speaker, fueled by an unwavering mission to empower individuals to embrace their authenticity and "be who they came to be." Her inspiring journey was sparked over 16 years ago by a letter her 87-year-old grandmother wrote to her infant son, containing a profound message that simply said, "be who you came to be." In those six words, Tara found the courage to embrace her own authenticity and create, own and live the life she desired. Now, she dedicates her life to helping others elevate their emotional intelligence to unleash their purpose, ignite their authenticity, and cultivate enduring happiness, success, love and fulfillment across all aspects of their lives.
Tara is an emotional-intelligence expert certified through OKA. She graduated from the University of Kansas and has studied leadership at the Wharton School of Business, The University of Chicago and the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Tara’s first book “Be Who You Came To Be” hit bookshelves in September of 2021. Her first children's book, "Be Who You Came To Bee" which she co-authored with her mom released in early 2023. She is currently writing her second book, "Perfectly Flawed", which will drop in 2024. Her favorite titles in life are wife to Scott, mom to Ben and Jack, daughter, sister and friend. Her dogs, Olive & Phog, are by far her biggest fans.
