Protein, Progress… and a Margarita
Back-to-school isn’t just for kids – for me it’s one of the best times for a personal reset.
This summer, I tried a 30-day challenge with a friend:
Track protein intake.
Limit alcohol.
Prioritize exercise.
The results? Better sleep. More energy. Clothes fitting better.
Most importantly, I felt more like me. More aligned. More dialed in. More fulfilled. More motivated. Overall, I just felt better about who I was.
Now that vacation is behind us, I’m doing it again, and I’d love for you to join me. I’ve attached the tracker we used. It’s simple, sustainable, and effective. If you’re in, follow me on Instagram and let me know - you’ll have accountability, encouragement, and results.
And because life is about balance…and as a salute to summer, I had to share my endless summer margarita recipe from my friend Michele in Mexico. She jokes it’s healthy because it’s loaded with vitamin C. Save it for a weekend “free day” and enjoy!
Here’s the deeper tip:
This isn’t just about food, fitness, or margaritas - it’s about emotional intelligence and self-awareness. When our body feels good, our mind has a chance to feel good. When our bodies don’t feel good – it’s almost impossible for the mind to feel good.
Resetting routines is more than discipline - it’s self-care. And when we care for ourselves, we show up better for everyone else.
So here’s my challenge to you:
Decide what your reset looks like.
Track it.
Share it with someone who will hold you accountable.
Because being who you came to be starts with honoring yourself. Keep shining, friends – the world needs your light!
